What is Tonisity PxW?
Tonisity PxW WeanBetter is a new concentrated solution designed to be administered to piglets during the weaning period
WeanBetter is a new concentrated solution designed to be administered to piglets during the weaning period through normal water lines.
What problem does it solve?
Weaning can be a stressful time for piglets.
If they do not drink in the early period, it can lead to weight loss, stunted growth and even
even death. Increased water intake correlates with increased food intake, and Tonisity PxW WeanBetter encourages piglets to drink more during the weaning period.
The formula of Tonisity PxW WeanBetter has been carefully formulated to complement Tonisity Px feed.
Tonisity PxW WeanBetter is most effective for piglets that have previously consumed Tonisity Px during the piglet’s farrowing period when they enter the rearing centre.

Tonisity Px™ for sows and weaners: less antimicrobials and better growth

Main results.
Two scientific studies have been conducted to investigate the effect of Tonisity Px supplementation in weaned piglets or sows on antimicrobial use and growth performance during key transitional/developmental periods.
 Piglets treated with Tonisity Px for a six-day period prior to weaning
required 34% less therapeutic treatment in the rearing room. These piglets also had a 3.9 per cent better growth rate.2
 The introduction of Tonisity Px into the sow’s diet in the 7 days before farrowing and weaning reduced the need for antibiotic treatment of piglets by
63%, and improved piglet growth performance (average daily gain +16%, weaning weight +0.88 lb/piglet). 3
 Tonisity Px enables non-antibiotic rearing of piglets at different stages of development, resulting in a reduction in antibiotic use, as well as the monetary and labour costs associated with
labour costs associated with treatment procedures.

PROGRAMME TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF OF LIVE PIGLETS PER SOW

Partneragro 2016 was created to take a different approach, combining veterinary medicine and nutrition.
We have gathered the best products from European manufacturers to lay a solid foundation for the physiological state of animals,
using laboratory diagnostics, high-quality products and years of experience. This allows us to find
innovative solutions to improve animal health and ensure profitable pig production. Our treatment and prevention
programmes optimise digestive processes and improve the health of our livestock, achieving a high level of quality. One of these programmes is
‘Increase the number of live piglets per sow per year’, which uses four Nuvan products:

PARTUCEL FORTIS: Supports postpartum health and recovery by stimulating calcium absorption and ensuring
high intake, which reduces wasting and promotes healthy farrowing.
NEOBOOST: Ensures rapid colostrum intake by providing piglets with sufficient energy and appetite to help them actively seek colostrum.
to actively seek colostrum.
CUMINEX: Reduces inflammation, protects and develops the intestines with curcumin, vitamin E, probiotics and umami to
improve bowel function and support the immune system.
OREXTROL: Stimulates appetite in piglets and sows during critical periods with umami and electrolytes that increase
appetite, rehydration and water balance.

Nuvan products are important components of our treatment and prevention programmes. They are successfully
used in Ukraine and have received positive feedback.
