1 tag (11 g) contains the active ingredient cypermethrin - 935 mg and excipients
The pharmaceutical form of the product (ear tags) ensures slow release of the active ingredient on the surface of the tag, so it is a constant reservoir of insecticide throughout the entire season of fly activity.
The active ingredient binds to skin fat and fats on the coat, which leads to the transfer of the insecticide to the hair of the coat. The drug begins to effectively protect animals from flies 24-48 hours after the ear tag is fixed. The binding of cypermethrin to sebum provides high resistance to rain wash-off.
The tags provide protection against flies for up to five months - throughout the entire season of fly activity
Seasonal protection of cattle against flies and other two-winged insects:
Tabanus bovinus;
Heamatobia irritans (synonym Lyperosia irritans);
Haematobia stimulans (synonym Haematobosca stimulans);
Hydrotea irritans;
Haematopota pluvialis;
Stomoxys calcitrans;
Musca autumnalis;
Fannia coniculars;
Morellia simplex;
Lucilia spp;
Callitroga spp;
Simulium reptans.
The electronics (ear tags) are attached to the outer side of the auricle between the second and third ridges.
The procedure for attaching the ear tags is described in detail in the leaflet.
Precipitation does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.
The tags provide protection against flies for up to five months - throughout the entire season of fly activity. Therefore, for maximum effectiveness, they should be installed at the beginning of the season before the formation of insect populations.
The tags are removed at the end of the fly season. In the next season, a new tag can be installed in the hole left by the previous tag
