\nTwo scientific studies have been conducted to investigate the effect of Tonisity Px supplementation in weaned piglets or sows on antimicrobial use and growth performance during key transitional\/developmental periods.
\n\uf0b7 Piglets treated with Tonisity Px for a six-day period prior to weaning
\nrequired 34% less therapeutic treatment in the rearing room. These piglets also had a 3.9 per cent better growth rate.2
\n\uf0b7 The introduction of Tonisity Px into the sow’s diet in the 7 days before farrowing and weaning reduced the need for antibiotic treatment of piglets by
\n63%, and improved piglet growth performance (average daily gain +16%, weaning weight +0.88 lb\/piglet). 3
\n\uf0b7 Tonisity Px enables non-antibiotic rearing of piglets at different stages of development, resulting in a reduction in antibiotic use, as well as the monetary and labour costs associated with
