Betaine
Improves water retention in the animal's body with the help of osmosis. It does not require energy compared to the sodium-potassium pump used for water absorption. Betaine is often used in heat stress situations.

Umami nutrients
Pigs have a very well developed sense of taste and smell. UMAMI (savory) is the best way to stimulate the appetite of pigs.

Flexibility
OREXTROL is very flexible in terms of dosage and animal species for which it can be used. Depending on the farm and the needs of the animals, it can be mixed into wet feed, gruel, water (water medicator or by hand).

  • During the first week of life, to get a good start for the piglet and a healthy sow.
  • During the weaning period to improve feed consumption.
  • For sows with reduced feed intake to help restore appetite.

Depending on the situation:
Piglets: First week of life: 10 grams per liter of water.
During the weaning period: 5-10 grams per liter of water.
Sows
5 grams per liter of water. Amount per feeding: 25 grams per 5 litres of water.
